DEKOZELL® SYSTEM FLEXOPANEL & GK-LOCH
49th Primary School Dresden
Although the 49th primary school was built in 1968, it is listed as a historical building. With double-sided lighting of the classrooms, the possibility of draught-free cross-ventilation, wind-protected break yards, bright connecting corridors, an assembly hall and a gymnasium, the building concept was orientated towards international trends at the time. Over 50 schools of this type were built in Dresden between 1964 and 1981.

Kids, please be quiet.
Architecture of the past, acoustics for tomorrow: in order not to affect the striking architecture during the refurbishment and still meet today’s requirements for a muted sound atmosphere, the particularly flat DEKOZELL FLEXOPANEL was the ideal solution. The surface had to be completely smooth, white–and above all do not take up too much room height.
Thanks to the colourability of the acoustic spray filler, it was also possible to perfectly meet the requirements of the heritage office for a specific shade of yellow. The entrance area, on the other hand, was simply done in white, seamlessly–with DEKOZELL laminated perforated plasterboard as an acoustic substructure.
