The offices of PSP Architekten Ingenieure are in the brick building of a former machine factory at Goldbekplatz 2 in Hamburg. The office’s centre aisle originally contained bookshelves that also acted as sound absorbers. The shelves should now open the corridor. An acoustic solution for the ceiling was needed to prevent unnecessary sound from spreading through the corridor in the open-plan office.

‘Acoustic ceiling? I didn’t
even know we have one!’
It had to be flat, smooth–and white. A classic case for our DEKOZELL SYSTEM FLEXOPANEL. The company IAT Innenausbau installed this ‘painting system’ step by step. Many PSP employees don’t even realise that they have an acoustic plaster ceiling above them – the solution is so inconspicuous and invisibly effective.
